Petsify.pl Terms of Service

1. General provisions

  1. These Terms set out the rules for using the website at petsify.pl.
  2. The operator is Cezary Salnik, a natural person, Wrocław, Poland. Email: kontakt@petsify.pl.
  3. Petsify.pl is an online platform where users can post, search and browse animal listings and contact listing providers directly. Petsify.pl facilitates contact only and is not a party to transactions between users, including payments for animals.
  4. Using the Service means you accept these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Service – the website available at petsify.pl.
  • Operator – the person or business operating the Service.
  • User – any individual using the Service.
  • Account – an individual account held by a registered User.
  • Listing – content posted by a User on the Service about an animal or service.
  • Profile – a public page for a breeder, shelter, foundation or animal keeper.
  • Promotional Service – a paid service that increases the visibility of a Listing or Profile.

3. Registration and accounts

  1. Registration is free and requires an email address.
  2. Users must provide accurate information.
  3. You may not create an account on someone else’s behalf without their consent.
  4. Users are responsible for keeping their password secure.

4. Listing rules

  1. Listings must be lawful, accurate and up to date.
  2. The person posting a listing is responsible for all information it contains.
  3. Petsify.pl does not arrange adoptions, sales or transfers of animals.
  4. Listings for protected animals without the required permits, false listings and listings that otherwise violate the law are prohibited.

5. Profile reviews

  1. Breeders, shelters and foundations may request a profile review.
  2. A review is limited to checking the documents provided by the organization. It is not an independent on-site inspection unless a status description expressly says otherwise.
  3. A review does not guarantee an organization’s reliability, the quality of its animal care or the accuracy of all its claims. It confirms only what was actually checked and should be understood within that scope.
  4. Terms such as ‘verified’, ‘checked’ or similar, when used on a Profile, refer only to the specific review described. They are not a general assurance that a transaction is safe.
  5. The Service does not currently operate a formal certification program (such as a ‘Petsify Standard’). If one is introduced, these Terms will be updated before it launches.

6. Promotional Services

  1. The Service offers paid Promotional Services to increase the visibility of Listings and Profiles.
  2. Available options: 7 days: PLN 19; 14 days: PLN 29; 30 days: PLN 49.
  3. Each Account receives one free highlight for 30 days.
  4. A highlight does not guarantee an adoption, sale or any number of inquiries.

7. Moderation

  1. The Operator may remove content that violates the law or these Terms.
  2. The Operator may suspend or delete an Account that violates the Service rules.
  3. Users may appeal a moderation decision within 14 days.

8. Liability

  1. The Operator is not liable for damages arising from transactions between Users.
  2. Users are fully responsible for the content of their Listings and messages.
  3. The Operator makes reasonable efforts to keep the Service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

9. Final provisions

  1. The Operator may amend these Terms and will notify Users of any changes.
  2. Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law.
